Call for Student Participation

The Organizing Committee of the Drug Discovery-2018 is pleased to announce the following student-centered events that will take place on December 03 and 04, 2018 during the conference:

  1. Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition
  2. Student Career Lunch

Both events are for graduate, master and PhD level students.

We invite students in the fields of Pharmacy and Biotech from all parts of the world to register for consideration. The selected students will be included in the conference program, receive registration at special price, lunch and refreshment for the duration of the conference.

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT)## is an academic competition that assists graduate and master level students with fostering effective presentation and communication skills. Participants have three minutes to explain the breadth and significance of their research project to conference participants.

The Student Career Lunch provides a venue for students to meet and interact with biologists, pharmacists, faculty members, industry partners and explore future collaboration or possible employment prospects. A buffet will be served at the lunch.

To participate in the 3MT and Student Career Lunch, please register here.

The last date for submitting your registration form is October 10, 2018. Awards will be given to the best 3MT presentations at Drug Discovery-2018 during the Posters Session.

You will be notified if your research project/profile is accepted for Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition.

##®3MT is an academic competition developed by the University of Queensland, Australia. Its success has led to the establishment of local and national competitions in several countries. For further information, please visit http://threeminutethesis.org
