Call for Abstracts

Abstracts of papers in all areas of Clean Energy and Grid-scale Electricity Generation are solicited for presentation at CEWEG-2017. Both technical- and market-oriented papers are encouraged. New technologies with large-scale focus are particularly sought.

Abstracts must be submitted electronically using the abstract submission template. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed for content, and when accepted, used to build the technical program

Deadline for abstract submission is Saturday July 15, 2017. Post-deadline abstracts are considered at the discretion of the Program Chair. Abstract acceptance/rejection notifications will be sent electronically no later than September 15, 2017.

All abstracts accepted for the conference may be for presentation of papers either orally or in poster format, according to the wishes of the author. All presentations must be in English. All authors presenting at CEWEG-2017 must be registered participants at the conference. Authors presenting at the conference accept that their presentations will be published on the conference website three to six months after the conference closes.

Authors are invited to submit abstracts for papers addressing all aspects of clean energy for electricity generation. The principal focus will be toward grid-scale electricity generation and not for solar heating and panels simply for local usage. Submissions should address at least one of the areas listed on the website home page. The correspondence author will receive email notification to confirm receipt of the abstract.

For the correspondence author, please provide e-mail address, first and last name, affiliation, and title of the presentation. Please also indicate if this author is the principal author and also the presenter. List all other authors and affiliations.

Do not use symbols, hyperlinks, bold and italic characters in the body of the abstract.

Select the preferred type of presentation (oral, poster or no-preference). The Program Chair reserves the right to change the type of presentation from that preferred by the author to accommodate limitations on meeting time, space or other constraints.

Changes to a submitted abstract prior to the submission deadline are not a problem; after the deadline changes will also be accepted but may present a problem for publication.

Invitation & Forms

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of CEWEG 2017, it is our pleasure to call for your technical contribution to the conference. See the submission category list as a guideline. All abstracts will be reviewed for relevance and content by the Program Committee.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Abstract Submission Deadline: 15 July 2017 (11:59 p.m., GMT, firm)

Abstract submission

On line abstract submission opens 12 December 2016 through the conference web site. The deadline for abstract submission is 15 July 2017. Abstracts submitted post-deadline will only be considered at the discretion of the Program Chair.

Please select a topic/subtopic for your abstract from the list of submission categories and provide enough information to place correctly the presentation in the conference program.

Oral and posters

When submitting an abstract, please specify your preference, either for an “oral/poster” or “only poster” contribution. We plan to limit the number of parallel oral sessions at the conference, and only a limited number of contributions will be selected for oral presentation. A few contributions may be elevated to invited talk.

The originality of the content is a key criterion for acceptance of the abstract. The decision about acceptance or rejection of the abstract after review by the Program Committee will be communicated to the author by mid August 2017.

Presentation and publication

Contact information is required for the Submitting Author and the Presenting Author (which may be, but are not necessarily, the same person). The attendance of the Presenting Author at the conference is a mandatory condition to maintain the presentation in the technical program.
