Aims and Scope

The Journal of Neuroimaging in Psychiatry and Neurology is an international peer-reviewed journal for rapid publication of papers related to neuroimaging studies relevant to psychiatric and neurological disorders. Inclusion of both psychiatric and neurological disorders ensures that the conditions that are at the intersection of the two disciplines receive adequate coverage and invite cross-disciplinary attention. The journal includes original research acquired using all conventional and evolving neuroimaging techniques including (but not limited to) structural and functional MRI, MEG, PET, SPECT, TCCD, CT, ERP, molecular imaging, and optical imaging techniques. The journal is interested in papers that have direct or indirect relevance to a psychiatric or neurological condition or deficit. We also welcome studies on human cognition, behavior and emotion. In addition, articles on recent advances in neuroimaging methods, image analysis techniques, kinetic modeling, and novel use of existing techniques will also be entertained.

The journal publishes papers in the following categories: Original Research Article, Review, Mini-review, Advanced Technology, and Letter to the Editor.
